Overview

What Budget Manager actually does

The Budget Manager does the arithmetic between a plan and an order. Given an account size and a maximum loss per trade, it divides the risk by the distance to the stop and rounds to a valid share count.

It writes one bracket order with the entry, stop and target, and shows the loss at the stop price so the number is visible before anyone approves it.

Capabilities

What it helps your agent ship

Size positions from budget and max loss per trade.

Respect max position size and a cash buffer.

Round to whole or fractional shares.

Write one bracket order with entry, stop and target.

Show the dollar loss if the stop fills.

Save trader/orders.json for the risk and broker skills.

Workflow

The process the skill follows

A repeatable sequence keeps the agent from jumping straight into edits before it understands the job.

  3. 03

    Do the arithmetic

Divide the risk budget by the risk per share.

  4. 04

    Round the size

Apply whole-share or fractional rules and respect the position cap.

  5. 05

    Write the order

Save a bracket order with the loss at the stop shown in dollars.
