Day trading / risk plan
Exit Planner
Sets your stop and your target before you enter, so you know when to get out.
Turns a setup into a written plan with a stop, a target, a reward-to-risk ratio and a flat-by time, then saves trader/plan.json.

What Exit Planner actually does
The Exit Planner writes the other half of the trade before the entry. It places the stop at a rule-based level such as the opening range midpoint, sets the target in multiples of risk and records the time the position must be flat.
A stop is a plan, not a guarantee. The planner shows the loss at the stop price and warns that fast markets and gaps can fill past it.
Capabilities
What it helps your agent ship
Set a stop from a named rule such as or-mid.
Set a target in R multiples such as 1R or 2R.
Compute risk per share and reward-to-risk.
Set a flat-by time so no day trade becomes an overnight hold.
Write trader/plan.json for the budget and risk skills.
Show the plan in plain words before any order exists.
Workflow
The process the skill follows
A repeatable sequence keeps the agent from jumping straight into edits before it understands the job.
- 01
Pick the stop rule
Choose the level that invalidates the setup, such as the opening range midpoint.
- 02
Pick the target
Express the target in R so size and risk stay linked.
- 03
Compute the risk
Measure the distance from entry to stop in dollars per share.
- 04
Set the clock
Record the flat-by time for the session so the trade cannot become an overnight hold.
- 05
Write the plan
Save trader/plan.json for the budget, risk and time-machine skills.
